Allentown, PA – The Ordination of Father Matthew Kuna…but this is in honor of his mom.
What is it for a mother to love a son
She who carried him within her very being
Who gently caressed his head as he lay upon her breast
Whose heart burst with joy as he took his first wobbly steps
Who saw him grow through the years
Who bandaged his skinned knees
Who wiped away his tears
She whose tears write a story of unrelenting, unyielding, uncontainable love
The fiercest love…
The love of a mother
And a mother that rejoices in her son becoming a priest?
She is the very image of Mary at the foot of the cross
She is the image of love
And a reflection of Christ’s Love for each of us
